New Beginnings are times when we celebrate the life of a new family member
or a new passage in our continuing lives. It is a time of joyous
celebration no matter what the event. Rev. Robbin can help you design a
ceremony to mark these important events, incorporating readings, music,
prayers, well wishes, the sentiments of family and friends, and special
remarks that define the importance of the event in the ongoing life of the
family unit and community.
If you do not follow any one religion, we can create a very spiritual and loving ceremony to celebrate the naming of your child. This is a time for all of your family members to bring their blessings and best wishes as they welcome this new and unique person into the world. Thanksgiving for a new life is always an appropriate celebration! If you have different faith traditions we can weave them together in a way that honors the inheritance you and your family are passing on to this child.
New beginnings services include:
Baby Blessing, Naming, Thanksgiving, Baptism
Welcoming a child into your family is one of the most memorable events that
you will ever experience in your lifetime. As an Ordained Interfaith
Minister and a grandmother of five children, I know what a blessing children
can be. Together we can design a heart-warming ceremony that welcomes your
baby into your family while also blessing and naming your child. For Christian families, I can perform a baptism at your home or
preferred venue.
Coming of Age
Coming of age is another special life passage that should be celebrated for
both boys and girls. Wishes of family and friends can be incorporated along
with fond remembrances of childhood stories. This is a time to say
good-bye to childhood and hello to a new phase of life.
House Blessing
You have worked hard to have your own home and may want to consider a house
blessing along with house warming party. We will travel through your home
room by room to ask for positive energy and spiritual blessing upon this
sacred place where you will spend so many of your waking and sleeping hours.
Retirement
When you have come to the well deserved transition from working full time to
a new life of retirement and relaxation, it is appropriate to celebrate this
life passage with a ceremony that recalls the work of a lifetime while
asking a blessing on the new phase you are entering. Together we can weave
the threads of your work's tapestry and your new visions together in a
joyous celebration.
